Zhuang Xueben's photographs have framed such aesthetic values which are constructed on the nexus be-tween national survival and the local space. Starting from modern photography and theories of art,from the formal beauty of images configuration,this paper aims to prospect for Zhuang Xueben's creative paradigm of'form'and'light'via visual language,seeks to survey the frontier ethnic groups and geographic features which make the con-tents of Zhuang's photographs. Beauties of nature and society presented in his works are expounded as well. All photographs left behind by Zhuang Xueben have made historical contributions to the national photography of modern China.
