Reviewing the Studies on the United Front Established Among Upper Echelons of Ethnic Minorities in Sichuan from Long March to Early Years of the Founding of the People's Republic of China
The united front is one of the three effective instruments finalizing the success of Chinese revolutions,fea-turing prominently in revolutionary activities and nation-building.This paper systematically reviews the existing re-search on the united front established by the Communist Party of China among members of ethnic minorities in the upper echelons of society in Sichuan from Long March to early years of the founding of the People's Republic of China.The systematic review covers theoretical implications,historical contexts,and methodological strategies.Highlighted in the current research are deficiencies,strategies to which are proposed from research systematicity,perspectives and depths.
