Progress on Domestic Steelmaking by Using Scrap-EAF Route and Prospect
With regard to the national development requirements for Carbon Peaking,Carbon Neutrality and the development of the steelmaking industry,the problems faced by steelmaking in-dustry in China were analyzed in order to achieve the proportion goal by short-process steelmak-ing,and then the future development direction by EAF steelmaking was proposed.At the same time,the applications and characteristics in terms of various types of EAFs in China were summa-rized,and based on that the development of EAF types in China was discussed based according to the current status of EAF in Europe.
