Analysis on Causes Leading to Color Difference Defect on Edge Surface of Cold Rolled Sheets and Improvement Measures
In response to the problem that the defect of color difference occurred on the edge surface of cold rolled sheets used for producing the st13 galvanized sheets,the surface roughness in terms of hot rolled sheets and pickled sheets was tested and analyzed.The analyzied results showed that the large difference in surface roughness at the edge and in the center of hot rolled sheets was the main cause leading to the color difference on the edge surface.Based on the thickness of the iron sheet at the cross-section of hot rolled sheets,the causes leading to the large difference in surface roughness of steel sheets were analyzed.After that,according to the actual production situation,these measures such as adjusting the mill load of the final mill stand during cold rolling and optimizing the shape of steel sheets for improving the color difference occurred on the surface of the steel sheets as well as reasonably matching the coiling temperature in hot rolling and laminar cooling mode were taken,the problem in terms of the color difference occurred on the edge surface of the st13 steel sheets was solved.
