Investigation on Balance of System for Chain Grate-Rotary Kiln-Ring Cooler in Chengchao Mining Company and Corresponding Analysis
In order to find out the thermal state on three main engines for the chain grate-rotary kiln-ring cooler system at Pellet Plant of Chengchao Mining Company,the balance of materials,air volume and heat amount in terms of the system were investigated and analyzed,and based on that suitable suggestions were put forward for optimizing the on-site thermal system.The analytival results showed that the air leakage rate of the chain grate was 10.86%,and their heat loss rates in terms of the chain grate,rotary kiln and ring cooler were 5.38%,12.09%and 1.87%respectively.So it was concluded that the complete overhaul should be carried out in view of the sealability of both bellows and hoods so as to reduce the air leakage rate and heat loss,while the refractory bricks were monitored in the rotary kiln in real time for replacing the damaged refractory bricks regularly so as to reduce the heat loss in the kiln.
