Development of 550 MPa Grade Hot-dip Galvanized High-strength Steel for Photovoltaic Supports
In order to meet the requirements asked by photovoltaic manufacturing industry for high-strength and corrosion-resistant materials,Ma'anshan Iron and Steel Co.,Ltd.successfully developed the 550 MPa grade hot-dip galvanized high-strength steel products for photovoltaic supports depending on the composition system with low content of C and Mn by adding certain amount of microalloy elements such as Nb and Ti based on the characteristics of the existing production equipment of the horizontal annealing furnace,combined with the process control for temperatures at each section of the annealing furnace area.The application results of the steel products showed that the mechanical properties of the products met the technical requirements asked by customers and thus these products could be applied to the structural bearing parts installed on the photovoltaic supports in batches.
