摘要

采用水模拟钢液、水和空心塑料球混合冰块模拟废钢的方法,在实验室开展了废钢打包块外型尺寸对转炉冶炼混匀时间影响规律的物理模拟研究,实现了废钢熔化过程的可视化,明确了废钢打包块形状对废钢熔化及转炉熔池混匀时间的影响.实验结果表明,向熔池中加入废钢打包块后,熔池的混匀时间明显变长,随着废钢的熔化,混匀时间逐渐减少.加入总重相同、规格不同的废钢打包块,其外型越接近正方体,转炉冶炼时间相对越短,更有利于生产.

Abstract

Based on simulating molten steel by water,simulating scrap steels with water and hollow plastic balls mixed with ice cakes,the physical simulation method was used to study the ef-fects of different exterior shapes and sizes of scrap-steel-packaging blocks on the homogenizing time of molten steel bath in converter during smelting by the 260 t converter. And thus the melting process of those scrap steels was in state of the visualization and further the effect of scrap-steel-packing block shapes on melting of scrap steels and homogenizing time of molten steel bath in converter were determined. So the experiment results showed that the homogenizing time of molten steel bath in converter lengthened significantly after adding scrap-steel-packing blocks to the bath,while the homogenizing time lessened gradually as the melting of these scrap steels. There-fore,while adding scrap-steel-packing blocks with the same total weight and different specifica-tions,the closer the exterior shapes were to the cube,the relatively shorter the time of smelting by converter was,which was more beneficial to steel-making production.
