Types and Voltage Characteristics of Single-Phase Line Breaking Faults in Power Grid
Line breaking faults include broken line ungrounding, broken line power side grounding,bro-ken line load side grounding, etc. The type, location and neutral grounding mode will affect the voltage amplitude and phase of the system. In order to explore the voltage characteristics of various line breaking faults in different situations, this paper systematically summarizes the types of single-phase line breaking faults, analyzes the possible moving range of neutral points of different line breaking faults and the voltage variation characteristics of both ends of the break after line breaking. The symmetric component method is applied to deduce the voltage characteristics when 110 kV line breaking occurs, with 35 kV on the load side and 10 kV on busbars, which is of practical significance for locating, discriminating and dealing with the power grid fault.
