Engineering Case Analysis Based on the Relay Protection Setting Principle for the Distribution Network
Due to the limitation of current transformer ratio and setting range,the setting value of on-site protection device can not be set normally.According to the relay protection setting principle for the distri-bution network,two scenarios of"quitting overcurrent Section I protection"and"setting based on the max-imum value of the device"are analyzed for specific cases,and it is determined that"quitting overcurrent Section I protection"can realize graded coordination,avoid simultaneous or override tripping of switches at all levels,reduce the scope of power outage and improve the reliability of power supply.
