Analysis and Treatment of High Voltage in Hydropower Cluster Grid under Accident Mode
Changing the operation mode after a power grid fault can easily lead to unqualified voltage in some regions, especially at the grid connection of small hydropower clusters, which seriously affects the quality of power supply and the safety of the power grid.Taking an event of high voltage in the grid connec-tion area of a small hydropower station after a line fault as the background, this paper uses the transmission line voltage difference formula and its derivation thinking to analyze the essential causes of the abnormal voltage in this event,so as to determine the handling ideas and methods;it then considers the short-term actual adjustment and operation needs and proposes a refined control scheme for the active power of small hydropower stations.Considering the needs of long-term power grid planning,a reactive power device con-figuration scheme is proposed, and the proposed scheme is calculated and validated using a PSASP simula-tion model. The paper specifically reveals the causes of abnormal voltage in this event, and the proposed short-term and long-term plans have good results, which have certain reference value for practical engi-neering application.
