Analysis of Operation Inconsistency Fault of On-Load Tap Changer on Converter Transformers
This paper takes the three-phase inconsistency fault in a converter station's on-load tap changer as an example.Combined with the control mechanism of the on-load tap changers,it describes the step process of the control loop about the tap changers and presents the strategies for primary and secondary e-quipment inspection following the occurrence of related faults.It finally proposes improved technical meas-ures to enhance the reliable operation,which can serve as a reference for the operation and maintenance work of the converter stations.
