Discussionof Development Strategies for Journalism and Communication Education in Higher Vocational Colleges under New Circumstances
With the rapid development of the Internet and the widespread application of new media technol-ogies,the methods,speed and effectiveness of information dissemination have undergone earth-shaking changes.However,the teaching models for journalism and communication education in higher vocational colleges have not been updated in a timely manner,which restricts the cultivation of talents needed for fu-ture society.Therefore,there is an urgent need for higher vocational colleges with journalism and communi-cation major to deepen curriculum design and teaching reforms:optimizing the curriculum system to improve teachers' professional abilities and promote teaching that keeps pace with the times and meanwhile,strengthening students'skills training and cultivating critical thinking and news sensitivity to a-dapt to the needs of the information society.The comprehensive measures proposed in this paper aim to im-prove the quality of education and cultivate future talents with professional skills,professionalism and good comprehensive qualities,injecting talent momentum into social progress.
