Analysis and Handling of Abnormal Low-Pressure Reclosure Circuit in the 500 kV Circuit Breaker Protection
The low-pressure lockout reclosure is one of the critical functions in the protection of 500 kV circuit breakers. This paper takes an abnormal event in the low-pressure lockout reclosure circuit of a 500 kV circuit breaker protection system as an example, and analyzes the causes of the abnormality from three aspects:the wiring of the low-pressure lockout reclosure circuit, power supply polarity, and auxiliary contacts. It also provides the handling process and summarizes the troubleshooting ideas and methods for such equipment in subsequent operation and maintenance work.
