The Yaojiata fluorite deposit in Langxi County is a representative fluorite deposit in the fluorite metallogenic belt in southern Anhui. This paper delves into the geological characteristics, diagenetic and metallogenic ages of the deposit and reveals that it is controlled by the NE-trending faults, and the ore bodies occur along these faults, exhibiting two distinct ore-forming stages:the early stage of crystallization of purple fluorite, and the late green fluorite. The predominant ore types are fluorite and quartz-fluorite,with wall rock alterations of silicification, sericite, kaolinization and illitization. As a middle-and low-temperature fissure-filling hydrothermal deposit,it formed at(98±19)Ma,significantly later than the Yaocun rock mass(ca. 127 Ma),indicating post-magmatic hydrothermal mineralization.
