The Houmachang copper-nickel deposit in Lieshan District,Huaibei City,Anhui Province is a magmatic liquation copper-nickel sulfide deposit,with a total of 17 ore bodies delineated in the upper,edge and bottom of the olivine gabbro facies of the Houmachang pluton.It exhibits an average copper grade of 0.36%and nickel 0.29%,and associated elements of Co,Pt,Pd,Ga and Se.Based on the summary and analysis of regional geological background,geological characteristics,prospecting indicators and genesis of the deposit,it is concluded that the deep part of the deposit has good prospecting potential.
