Study on Preparation Technology of a Modified Chitosan Product and Its Adsorption Performance
In this paper, chitosan(CTS)was dissolved in glacial acetic acid to obtain CTS solution, and anhydrous eth-anol was used as pore-forming agent to prepare porous chitosan microspheres. The prepared CTS microspheres were crosslinked with epichlorohydrin(ECH),and hydroxypropyl chitosan microspheres(HPCTS)were prepared. The prod-ucts were characterized by infrared spectrum and scanning electron microscope.Through infrared spectrum analysis,it can be seen that ECH and CTS were crosslinked.Comparing the SEM images of CTS and HPCTS,it was found that the surface of HPCTS formed a large number of porous structures due to cross-linking reaction, which increased a large number of holes for adsorbing heavy metal ions, which greatly improved the surface area of HPCTS compared with that before cross-linking.Through single factor experiment, the technological parameters of preparing HPCTS were studied, and the crosslinking degree of the product prepared under better technological parameters could reach 75.23%,and re-producibility of the product is good.
