Determination of Cadmium in Soil Samples by Microwave Digestion Graphite Furnace Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy
A method for the determination of cadmium in soil samples by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrosco-py was established. The pre-treatment methods of microwave digestion and HNO3-HF-H2O2 acid digestion have relative-ly good results, fast digestion speed, and can effectively treat organic matter in soil. This article optimized the heating program through orthogonal experiments. The ashing temperature was selected as 680℃,and the atomization tempera-ture was selected as 1 600℃.At the same time, through the comparison of matrix modifiers,0.50 µg/mL palladium chloride solution was selected as the matrix modifier, which showed relatively good results. The detection limit of cadmi-um in this method is 0.018 ng/mL,the lower limit of determination is 0.072 ng/mL,the precision(RSD value)of the method is in the range of 0.9%to 2.4%,and the spiked recovery rate is in the range of 97.0%to 102.7%,which meets the requirements of rock and mineral analysis specifications. The method of microwave digestion graphite furnace atomic absorption spectroscopy for the determination of cadmium in soil is characterized by simple operation, low detection lim-it,less interference, high precision and good accuracy.
