Effect of Municipal Sludge and Cow Dung Collaborative Carbonization on the Properties of Modified Sludge Biochar
In order to explore the effect of municipal sludge and cow dung co carbonization on the properties of modified sludge biochar, municipal sludge and cow dung were used as experimental materials, and the cow dung addition ratio was 0%, 10%, 20%, 50%, carbonization time was 40 min, carbonization temperature was 400℃, 500℃, 700℃. Municipal sludge and cow dung were co carbonized, and the properties of the prepared modified sludge biochar were analyzed. The re-sults showed that the yield of modified sludge biochar decreased with the increase of carbonization temperature and the pro-portion of cow dung. When the carbonization temperature is 700℃ and the proportion of cow manure added is 50%, the maximum decrease in yield is 34.09%. The organic matter content of modified sludge biochar increased with the increase of cow dung addition ratio, and decreased with the increase of carbonization temperature. When 50% cow dung was added, the organic matter content of modified sludge biochar was the highest, which was 35.49% (700℃), 43.09% (600℃) and 46.15% (500℃), respectively. The concentration of heavy metals in modified sludge biochar increased with the increase of carbonization temperature. The effective heavy metals in the modified sludge biochar account for less than 20%, indicating that the co pyrolysis of municipal sludge and cow dung has a certain synergistic effect on the stability of heavy metal forms, reducing the risk of heavy metal leaching and ecological toxicity.
