People's mediation,known as the"Oriental Experience",is an important part of the grass-roots social governance system and plays a significant role in resolving conflicts and disputes,enhancing the unity of the people,and maintaining social harmony and stability.However,at present,in the grass-roots social governance of people's mediation,there are still problems such as the construction of the team of people's mediators that cannot keep up with the development of the times,the coordination and linkage between people's mediation and other dispute resolution methods is insufficient,and the grass-roots foundation of people's mediation work is relatively weak.To improve the effectiveness of people's mediation,it is necessary to adhere to the essential attributes of people's mediation,promote the diversi-fied development of people's mediation,and practice the people's mediation system in line with the grass-roots governance strategy.On this basis,it is also necessary to increase the construction of organiza-tional teams,enhance the effective coordination and linkage of multiple subjects,consolidate the grass-roots foundation,so as to continue to play the role of people's mediation,and promote the modernization of grass-roots social governance capabilities.
