Improvement of the Supervision-prosecution Connection in Duty-related Criminal Cases
In recent years, the reform of the judicial system and the supervision system has been gradual-ly completed. The power to investigate duty-related crimes has been transferred from the original procura-torial organs to the supervisory organs, and the case handling model of duty-related crime cases being in-vestigated by the supervisory organs and transferred to the procuratorial organs for review and prosecution has gradually matured. However,in practice, there are still some problems with the supervision-prosecu-tion connection when handling duty-related crime cases. In view of the problems like inadequacy of the early intervention mechanism of the two supervisory and procuratorial organs in the process of handling cases, the lack of refinement of the supplementary investigation procedures, and the differences in the system of leniency in pleading guilty, the relevant provisions for early intervention should be improved, and the coordination and cooperation between supervision and prosecution should be strengthened,so as to realize the effective convergence of the system of leniency in pleading guilty.
