"Telling Chinese stories well"is an important part of"educating students with all aspects"in college English classes under the background of ideological and political curriculum.At present,college English teaching faces many problems and challenges in the aspect of ideological and political teaching.Taking New Horizons College English Reading and Writing Course(Third edition)as an example,this pa-per explores specific implementation strategies for college English curriculum from the aspects of improv-ing teachers'ideological and political literacy,teaching content model innovation and teaching evaluation optimization,so as to build college English classrooms with Chinese characteristics and achieve the goal of"telling Chinese stories well,spreading Chinese voices well,and explaining Chinese characteristics well"for college students.
