In the context of modern governance,the protection and development of traditional villages has become a significant research proposition in the new development stage.The existing research literature were sorted out to analyze the conceptual connotations of traditional village protection and development and spatial governance,clarify their related logic,as well as summarize the research progress on various aspects of traditional village protection and development under spatial governance,including the main paths,influencing factors,and spatial management priorities,hoping to provide the reference and inspiration for research on traditional village protection and development in China,and scientific guidance for rural governance and traditional village protection practices.
