Prediction of Reserved Deformation in Loess Tunnel Based on Pearson Coefficient
Reserved deformation prediction is conducive to the tunnel construction safety in loess areas. By analyzing 148 monitoring section data of tunnels with different types of loess soil, recommendations for the reserved deformation in loess tunnels were obtained. The results showed that by using Pearson correlation coefficient analysis, the correlation between soil type and arch settlement was the strongest, and the burial depth the weakest. In the loess tunnel section of grade IV surrounding rock, the reserved deformation of clay loess and silty loess can be set to within 15 cm,while for sandy loess to 15~20 cm. In the grade V surrounding rock loess tunnel section, the reserved deformation with clay loess can be set to 15~20 cm,while with silt loess to within 15 cm and sandy loess to 35~47.5 cm. When the moisture content reached 11%~23%,the distribution proportion of cumulative settlement on the arch crown was relatively high, and the arch crown settlement in sandy loess was more affected by the moisture content than that in clay loess and silty loess. Under different burial depth, the reserved deformation was set to 16 cm,and the guarantee rate (the ratio between the deformation amount smaller than the given measurement point and the total statistical measurement point) reached 84.6%.
