Research on the Art Characteristics and Application of Digital Media Based on Virtual Reality Technology
Virtual reality allows users to interact in virtual environments by forming a 3D space. This paper aims to explore the characteristics of digital media based on virtual reality technology and its applications. The core concepts of virtual reality technology and digital media art was analyzed,and the digital media art characteristics based on virtual reality technology,namely immersion,interactivity,multi-perception,and conceptualization. The application characteristics of virtual reality technology in the fields of digital media art were summarized,including art creation,education,entertainment,and the development trend is prospected.
