Pesticide spraying techniques for harmful organism control in orchards are an important link in orchard management and tending. There are problems with some fruit growers in practical pesticide spraying including nonstandard technical operation, negli-gence of actual effects while focusing on process and some misunderstanding. To solve the above problems, a systematic introduction was made in this paper to the key techniques for improving pesticide spray effects in orchards from such aspects as selection of suitable pesticides, time and weather conditions, scientific and standardized preparation of pesticide solutions and spraying operation, so as to control the spray cost, improve economic returns from orchards and protect eco-environment, realizing sci-tech driven forestry and agri-cultural development.
