Difficulties and New Paths to Increase Income from Bamboo Industry in Xiuning County
In this paper,based on the survey of the output and sales actualities of bamboo and shoots in Xiuning County,an analysis was made on the main difficulties in increasing the income of bamboo industry.Targeted new paths for increasing the income of bamboo industry were put forward including improving the per unit yield and reducing the cost to enhance the market competitiveness of bam-boo shoots,optimizing supportive policies and expanding sales and use channels to increase bamboo consumption,carrying out pilot promotion to vigorously cultivate new markets for bamboo shoots,adjusting the biennial shooting structure with more spring shoots in the bumper shooting year,so as to provide reference for continuously improving the income-increasing ability of bamboo industry in the county.
