Discussion on the Paths for Developing High-quality Forestry Industry in Anhui Province
Forestry is an indispensable and important industry in the modern rural industrial system and developing modern forestry is the fundamental path to achieve high-quality development of forestry industry,which is of special significance in effectively promoting all-round rural revitalization,safeguarding national security in food,ecology and timber supply and advancing green development,coor-dinated and balanced development among different regions and common prosperity.In this paper,based on the interpretation of the im-portant forestry deployment and arrangement in Document No.1 of the Central Committee in 2024,an objective demonstration was made on the fundamentality and public welfare nature of forestry industry with a profound analysis on the weakness of traditional forest-ry and a systematic discussion on the basic features of modern forestry development including moderate scale management,featured re-gional development,formation of industrial clusters and both sci-tech innovation and institutional innovation driven development.Fo-cusing on high-quality development of forestry industry in Anhui,specific and realistic paths for developing key aspects of forestry in-dustry were put forward respectively including focus on high-end edible oil,layered development and multiple use in Camellia oleifera industry,promotion of bamboo products as substitutes for plastics and making partitioned breakthroughs in bamboo industry and nor-malized,scale,standardized and industrial development of under-forest economy.
