Stem Borers of Camellia oleifera and Green Control Measures
In this paper,an introduction was made to 7 common stem borers of Camellia oleifera including Parametriotes theae,Casma-ra patrona,Linoclostis gon ati as,Chreonoma atritarsis,Aeolesthes induta,Phassus minanus and Zeuzera coffeae with respective identifi-cation characteristics and living habits.Based on production practice,targeted green control measures for the stem borers of C.oleifera were put forward,with forest management measures,physical control and biological control as the principal means supplemented by sci-entific application of chemical pesticides when the pests have caused a disaster,so as to effectively improve the yield and quality of ca-mellia oil,minimize environmental pollution,maintain ecological security and ensure safety of edible woody oil products,promoting high-quality development of C.oleifera industry.
