Sapling-raising and Cultivation Management Techniques for Vegetative Propagation of Torreya grandis 'Merrillii'
Torreya grandis 'Merrillii' is China's unique woody oil tree species with high economic value.In this paper,based on years of production practice,the growth and development features of the flower buds,pollination and fruiting and suitable habitats for the culti-var including climate,soil and altitude,an introduction was made to the grafting and cutting methods for vegetative propagation of the cultivar and key cultivation management techniques including planting,fertilization,soil preparation,shaping and pruning,flower-fruit protection and disease and pest control,so as to provide technical reference for the growers to increase both yield and income.
