Discussion on the Propagation of Taxodium 'Zhongshanshan' Fine Cultivar and Afforestation Techniques in Different Scenarios
Taxodium 'Zhongshanshan',featured with rapid growth,high tolerance for water,drought,saline-alkaline and strong wind and graceful tree form,has been widely used in wetland ecological restoration,coastal shelter forest,urban and rural greening and farm-land shelter forest network,bringing significant ecological,economic and social benefits.In this paper,based on the propagation of the cultivar in the Forest Nursery of Fengtai County and afforestation with the cultivar in different scenarios in Huainan City,a summary was made on the propagation and afforestation techniques for Taxodium 'Zhongshanshan' with the hope of providing reference for the propagation,afforestation and promotion of the fine cultivar in similar areas.
