Analysis on the Spatial Distribution Pattern and Influencing Factors of Nature Protected Areas in Anhui Province
The complex and diverse topography and landforms in Anhui Province have shaped its differentiated patterns of nature pro-tected areas. In this paper, the 202 integrated and optimized nature protected areas in Anhui were the study objects and an analysis was made on the structural composition and spatial distribution features of the nature protected areas and their influencing factors by com-prehensively applying the nearest point index, geographic concentration index, standard deviation ellipse, kernel density estimation and geographic detector. The results showed that,of all types of nature protected areas in Anhui, forest parks have the largest number,na-ture reserves and scenic spots were the biggest in area while wetland parks had the smallest mean area.In terms of geomorphologic divi-sion,nature protected areas had the largest number in plains along the Yangtze River and the smallest number in Jianghuai Hilly Re-gion.Nature protected areas in Anhui had the features of aggregated distribution and unbalanced spatial distribution, with high-density distribution areas mainly in the south of Anhui and low-density ones mostly scattered in the north of the province. The total water re-sources,annual precipitation, forestland area, population density and number of A-level scenic spots are the main influencing factors for the spatial distribution of nature protected areas, and the spatial differentiation is the result of multiple factors.
