Study on the Phytoplankton Community in Longchuan River,Shenchong Village,Yixian County
In order to understand the phytoplankton community structure and assess phytoplankton diversity and water health status in Longchuan River Basin, water samples were collected from Shenchong village section of Yixian County in the summer of 2016,with phytoplankton species and abundance being counted. The results showed that there were a total of 92 identified phytoplankton species, among which Chlorophyta,Bacillariophyta and Cyanophyta were the main dominant phyla, with 30,36 and 15 species identified respec-tively.Euglenophyta,Pyrrophyta and Cryptophyta accounted for a relatively low proportion of species, with 6,3 and 2 species identified respectively.Chlorophyta dominated in species diversity and abundance, and Chlorella vulgaris was the main dominant species in the basin.Based on the analysis of hydrochemical parameters,it was found that the overall water quality of the survey site was good, mainly class II and above, and the water quality was better consistent with that of the pollution indicator algae(middle sewage B).The results of this study could provide basic data for understanding the aquatic biodiversity and water quality of Longchuan River Basin, which is of great significance for water quality monitoring and water ecological conservation in the region in the future.
