Compound Cultivation Techniques for Catalpa bungeiand Paeonia suffruticosa
Catalpa bungei and Paeonia suffruticosa both have extremely high economic values and irreplaceable ornamental values,and compound planting of the two species could realize maximized comprehensive utilization of land resources,which may not only in-crease the economic benefits per unit land area,but also contribute to the development of industries including forest tourism.In this study,based on years of practical experience,an introduction was made to the core techniques for compound highly-efficient cultiva-tion of C.bungei and P.suffruticosa from such aspects as selection of mixed modes,grafting,pruning and disease and pest control,so as to provide effective guidance for compound cultivation of the two species in similar areas.
