Forestry standards are an important technical foundation for making lucid waters and lush mountains a vast source of eco-nomic benefits.Formulating forestry standards could not only help regulate forestry production and management behavior and improve utilization efficiency of forestry resources,but also promote rapid commercialization and application of innovative forestry sci-tech achievements and provide solid technical support and guarantee.In this paper,an introduction was made to the forestry standardization development actualities in Anhui with an analysis on the main problems in forestry standardization.Suggestions were made on strength-ening forestry standardization from such aspects as enhancing personnel training,speeding up commercialization and application of achievements and strengthening publicity measures,so as to facilitate high-quality forestry development in Anhui.
