Wood-plastic composites,combining the excellent properties of wood and plastic,have been widely used in urban construc-tion,especially in outdoor public seats.In this paper,theoretically guided by ergonomics and landscape architecture,a series of outdoor public wood-plastic seat products were designed,which,compared with traditional outdoor public seats,were both ornamental and practical and perfectly integrated with urban environment while meeting humanized demands.A discussion was also made on their ap-plication in urban landscaping according to functions of different products,so as to provide reference for seat design in urban construc-tion.
