Influences of seasons and rooting hormone types on the rooting Podocarpus nagi cuttings
The cultivation of cuttings is the key to realize clone afforestation of cypress.The results of comparative experiments on Podocarpus nagi cuttings showed that the survival rate and rooting time of cuttings in different seasons had significant difference of 0.01.Survival rate,rooting time and root number among different auxin treatments had significant level of 0.01.There was significant interaction effect between cutting season and rooting hormone on cutting survival rate,root number and rooting time.In terms of the comprehensive performance of cutting survival rate,rooting time,and root number,the most suitable cutting plan was to soak the base of cuttings with a concentration of 0.5 g/L ABT6 for 0.5 h before and after cutting in June.
