Effects of microbial organic fertilizer on the control and yield increase of sweet potato root knot nematode disease
Sweet potato stem nematode disease is a common and serious disease in sweet potato production. To understand the microbial loading effect of different carriers,as well as the effects of adding composite agents on sweet potato stem nematodes and yield, different carriers and microbial agents were used to measure the microbial loading effect, and the sweet potato yield and their stem nematode disease index after applying different microbial agents were measured in this experiment. The results showed that the adsorption rate, release rate, and survival rate of diatomaceous earth for biocontrol agents were as high as 64.76%,94.61%and 86.90%,respectively,which could effectively achieve bacterial adsorption/release and ensure bacterial survival. The combined application of Paenibacillus kribbensis and biocontrol agents was 75.4%effective against sweet potato root knot nematode disease. After the application of bio organic fertilizer composed of microbial agents and organic fertilizer, the incidence rate of nematode was only 12.7%,and the yields up to 19 272.23 kg/hm2.Biological organic fertilizers have a promoting effect on the growth, quality, resistance, yield increase and income increase of sweet potatoes. It exhibits wide applicability, green safety, and does not produce drug resistance, making it suitable for promotion and application in the prevention and control of sweet potato stem nematodes and the promotion of sweet potato yield increase.
