Exploration of teaching models for Soil Science in agricultural universities
Soil was the base of agricultural production and an important natural resource,and Soil Science was a fundamental course in agricultural and forestry majors.The current situation and shortcomings of Soil Science courses based on the characteristics of the school and the requirements of the"New Agricultural Science"construction had been analyzed in this article.In response to the main problems of insufficient teaching hours,untimely updating of teaching content,and loose integration of industry,academia,and research in the original Soil Science curriculum,combined with the characteristics of the agricultural science major,it was proposed that Soil Science courses should add current affairs hotspots,course ideological and political content,and combine with experimental practice to carry out comprehensive online and offline activities Stereoscopic and multi-level teaching.The purpose was to stimulate students'interest in self-directed learning,cultivate their innovation and practical abilities,provide theoretical reference for cultivating high-quality innovative talents that meet the requirements of the"New Agricultural Science",and lay the foundation for building first-class disciplines and majors.
