Microplastics are plastic particles with particle size less than 5 mm,which have the ability to increasing attention due to their small size and potential ecological risks.In this paper,the characteristics of microplastics and their migration and transformation in the environment were described,the advantages and disadvantages of microplastics pretreatment methods were analyzed,and the monitoring and analysis methods of microplastics were also summarized,which provided a basis for the future research on microplastics in environmental water.
