Economic benefit analysis of Micropterus salmoides cultivation in land-based drum
Land-based drum recirculation aquaculture is a new and efficient aquaculture model.The purpose of this study is to analyze the economic benefits of Micropterus salmoides cultivation in land-based drum,and to provide a reference for further popularization and application of this aquaculture model.This paper investigated a total of three land-based drum farms of M.salmoide in Anhui Province,and analyzed their inputs,yields,production values,and economic benefits of M.salmoides bass aquaculture.The results showed that feeding cost was the first major input element of the culture cost.The cost and yield analysis revealed that the placement density,seedling source,fixed asset investment,and marketing time were all important factors affecting the economic benefits.In terms of production,it was recommended that enterprises carry out research and development of aquaculture technology,adjust the aquaculture mode,give full play to the potential of drum aquaculture,appropriately extend the aquaculture cycle,improve the specification of commercial fish,and stagger the peak period of sales,with a view to obtaining higher economic benefits.
