Research on the growth and development characteristics and adaptability of cutting rose
This study investigated and analyzed the growth and development status,flowering habits,and occurrence of diseases and pests of 12 introduced cutting rose varieties in Nocthwest Honan China.The results showed that varieties H,E,F,and J had more branches,thicker stems,and better root development;varieties B,J,and D had better flowering habits;in terms of disease and pest control,varieties G,B,and J had strong resistance to diseases and pests.Overall,varieties J,B,and H had good plant growth and flowering habits,strong adaptability,and could be promoted and planted in Nocthwest Honan it could be reasonably configured according to their flowering characteristics,providing reference for cultvating new rose varieties in garden or green space.
