In order to screen out peony varieties suitable for miniature potted plants and further improve the production technology system for miniature potted peonies,9 traits including flowering rate,flower diameter,and flower posture were selected for comprehensively evaluate 33 peony varieties including Okan.The results showed that a total of 11 peony varieties including Fu Gui Man Tang were screened out that performed well in outdoor production of miniature potted plants in spring,and 12 varieties including Sheng Ge Jin Zi performed moderately.There were 18 varieties including Bartzella that performed well in the production of miniature potted peonies in spring greenhouses,and 6 varieties including Sheng Ge Jin Zi performed moderately.Additionally,10 varieties including Zi Er Qiao performed well in the production of miniature potted peonies for the Chinese New Year,and 11 varieties including Taiyo performed moderately.This study,through the screening of miniature potted peony varieties,provides a reference for the promotion and utilization of related peony varieties and the production practice of miniature potted plants.
