Analysis of trends in the changes of available potassium abundance in the cultivated soil layer
To investigate the spatial distribution and dynamics of available potassium in the 0-20 cm plow layer soil, serving local agricultural production. The trends and regional differences in soil available potassium abundance in L County were analyzed, based on the available potassium content in 15 393 soil samples collected from the plow layer from 2007 to 2022.The results showed that from 2007 to 2022,the available potassium content in the plow layer soil of the study area showed an overall increasing trend, with an average annual increase of 4.12 mg/kg,being in a relatively rich state;there were differences in soil available potassium content between different regions and different soil types, with uneven distribution.Continuing to promote soil testing and formula fertilization to enhance potassium use efficiency is an advantageous choice for reducing chemical fertilizer application, ensuring stable and increased grain production, and alleviating environmental pressure.
