Research on the prevention and control techniques of Dendrolimus punctatus in southern Anhui Province
The Dendrolimus punctatus is a common pest of the pine family,which can cause significant damage to forestry production and ecology.The occurrence characteristics,patterns,and reasons of the Dendrolimus punctatus were analyzed in the southern Anhui Province region,proposed prevention and control strategies for the pest,and elaborated on the key points of green prevention and control techniques,providing references for the prevention and control of harmful organisms in the forestry of the southern Anhui Province region.The occurrence of Dendrolimus punctatus is related to host plants,natural climate,and natural enemies.It is prone to occur when the balance of forest communities is disrupted,natural environmental changes are abnormal,the pest itself undergoes genetic variation,and management is not in place.In production,it is possible to adopt strategies such as zoning management,targeted implementation;strengthening monitoring,mastering pest situations;green control,reducing pest populations;forest transformation,natural extinction,and other control strategies.Comprehensive prevention and control measures are carried out through silvicultural measures,physical control,chemical control,biological control,and the utilization of natural enemies.
