In the process of animal husbandry,improper use of veterinary drugs may lead to bacterial resistance and animal food safety issues,posing potential safety risks.The current situation of the use of veterinary drugs were analyzed from the aspects of using antibiotic and multidrug-resistant bacteria,veterinary drug use of farm,breeding environment,and scientific guidance for veterinary drug use.Corresponding countermeasures were proposed from the aspects of rational use of veterinary drugs,strengthening scientific management,establishing a process based management mechanism for veterinary drug use,developing new veterinary drugs,new feed,and traditional Chinese veterinary drugs.Aim to provide references for reducing the use of veterinary drugs in livestock and poultry breeding.
