Effects of biodegradable film on soil temperature, humidity and tobacco growth
To clarify the warming, moisture retention, quality improvement, and yield increasing effects of biodegradable film,Yunyan 87 was used as the material, and two treatments of biodegradable film (T1) and ordinary film (CK) were set up to explore their effects on soil temperature and humidity,as well as agronomic and economic traits of tobacco plants in tobacco fields in this experiment. The results indicated that the biodegradable plastic film had been completely degraded in the later stage of harvest. The soil temperature covered with biodegradable film was higher than that covered with ordinary film during the clumping and flourishing stages, while the opposite is true during the budding stage. The soil moisture content using biodegradable film was higher than that covered by ordinary film at different stages. The use of biodegradable plastic film for cultivation could promote the growth of tobacco plants, while increasing tobacco yield and superior tobacco yield, thereby increasing output value. Promoting the use of biodegradable plastic film is of great significance for improving the quality of tobacco production and alleviating soil pollution pressure.
