Problems and countermeasures in the prevention and control of forestry pest
Effective pest control in forestry is an important guarantee for sustainable development and has significant implications for the healthy development of forestry. The current situation of forestry pest control was combined in the research area,the segments and countermeasures in forestry pest control work were summarized and analyzed. The forestry pests in the research area were mainly caused by Bursaphelenchus xylophilus,while the pests and diseases of Monochamus alternatus,and Dendrolimus punctatus were relatively mild. In actual prevention and control work,there were issues that need to be further improved in understanding the importance of forestry pest control,the quality of monitoring,prevention and control,and quarantine work needs to be further strengthened,the professional level of prevention and control personnel needs to be further improved,and forest management measures need to be further improved. Measures for the prevention and control of forestry pests had been proposed to address these issues,including improving forestry prevention and control mechanisms,improving monitoring and forecasting systems,focusing on the prevention and control of major forestry pests,strengthening plant quarantine inspections,establishing professional prevention and control teams,and carrying out forest cultivation. The purpose is to strengthen the prevention and control of forestry pests from the source,provided a reference for sustainable development of forestry.
