Diversity and variation of flower-visiting insects in different habitats in the Shuangyong Park
To understand the resources and diversity of flower-visiting insects in the different habitats of the Shuangyong Park, the resources and distribution of flower-visiting insects in different habitat types were investigated. The results indicated that a total of 1548 flower-visiting insects were collected and observed, belonging to 6 orders,42 families, and 89 species, with a total of 1308 wild and cultivated plants recorded, belonging to 17 families and 40 species. The diversity index (H′) of pollinator insects in different habitats, from high to low was shrub habitat>roadside flower habitat>meadow habitat>tree habitat;the evenness index (J),from high to low was shrub habitat>roadside flower habitat>meadow habitat>tree habitat;and the richness index (D),from high to low was shrub habitat>roadside flower habitat>meadow habitat>tree habitat. The study found that there were significant differences in the attraction of flower visitors by different flower colors and shapes. This research provided basic data for analyzing the intrinsic factors and patterns of flower-visiting insects' habitat selection in different plant environments, and offers a basis for the protection and management of regional natural ecosystems.
