Analysis on the key points and prospects of cover crops planting
The planting significance,planting points and planting prospects of cover crops were analyzed.Cover crops play an important role in preventing soil erosion,retaining soil moisture,improving soil quality,increasing the yield and quality of main crops,and increasing the species diversity of farmland ecosystems.The selection of cover crops should be based on the requirements of providing nitrogen,improving soil quality,controlling weed growth and maintaining soil moisture.To achieve the main goals of cover crops,the appropriate cover crop varieties and planting methods should be selected according to local climate conditions,soil types and main crop types of the next season.The study aim to provide references for the planting and utilization of cover crops.
