Analysis of current situation of damage and control measures of termite in traditional villages in Central Jiangsu Province
Based on work practice and in-depth literature analysis,the present current situation of termite damage in traditional villages in Central Jiangsu Province in recent years was reviewed,the causes of termite damage in traditional villages were analyzed,and the further improvement of termite control in traditional villages was pointed out.The corresponding control strategies were put forward.There were many kinds of termites in traditional villages,mainly Coptotermes formosanus,Reticulitermes chinensis,Reticulitermes speratus,Odontotermes formosanus and Macrotermes barneyi,etc.,which have strong hidden damage and mainly harm the wooden structure of ancient buildings.Natural environment,architectural features and human activities were the main causes of termite damage.At present,termite control needs to be further improved in terms of prevention and control system,prevention and control funds,prevention and control technology and awareness.Based on this,strategies were proposed to construct a comprehensive control system,increase investment and strengthen control efforts,promote and apply advanced control technologies,enhance the construction of an early warning and monitoring system,improve resident participation,providing a reference for the control of termite in traditional villages.
